1500 Patients get their Sight

Improving access to quality, inclusive and comprehensive eye health services for marginalized rural communities’ project, we have managed to restore sight to over 1500 people who had blindness because of cataracts.

Before the project, only referral hospitals were the ones offering cataract surgeries but through the inclusive eye care project, we want to see surgeries being done in districts that do not provide such services

We target 7,000 patients by 2024. The project is funded by CBM UK and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
