MANEPO with funding from Aktion Deutschland Hilft through HelpAge Deutschland will be implementing a 12-months project titled “Facilitating Recovery and Resilience Building for Vulnerable Flood and Rain Affected Mothers and Grandmothers in Need In Zomba District”.
The past 2 weeks, we have been holding inception meetings with key technical working groups like the District Agriculture Extension Coordinating Committee (DAECC), District Disaster Risk Management Committee (DDRMC) and later presented it to the District Executive Committee (DEC) for endorsement.
The project seeks to facilitate recovery and resilience building to disasters and climate change through provision of materials to rehabilitate their homes and restore food security and livelihoods specifically in T/A Mwambo, Zomba District.
