Chiradzulu, Malawi – Police in Chiradzulu have arrested a 22-year-old man, Maxwell Million, in connection with the gruesome murder of two elderly women, Rosibery Time (73) and Christina Likongwe (69), who were found dead along the Ntanangala River in Nsanja Village, Traditional Authority Mpama.

According to Sub Inspector Cosmas Kagulo, Chiradzulu Police Public Relations Officer, the incident occurred on June 10, 2025, at around 3:00 PM, when the two sisters went to the river to wash clothes. They were later discovered lying lifeless behind rocks, having sustained brutal injuries.
